Magomed Kureishovich Aushev 1988, kidnapped 25.08.2010г.

On August 25, 2010, at about 3:00.m., in the city of Karabulak, Republic of Ingushetia, Magomed Kureishovich Aushev, born in 1988, left his home and never returned. As reported by the Human Rights Centre (HRC) «Memorial«, his whereabouts are still unknown.

Magomed is a 4th year correspondence student of the law department of the Ingush State University; and he works there as a laboratory assistant.

According to Magomed’s relatives, he was to meet a female relative and talk to her about his employment during his vacations. Worried about his long absence, his relatives called him to mobile phone, but it was switched off.

On August 26, his mother – Lydia Ausheva – brought her written application to the HRC «Memorial» in Nazran. As of August 31, Magomed Aushev’s whereabouts were not established
