It was reported that on 11 March 2004,Mr. Ibragim Izmailov born in 1987, was arrested near the Kantyshevsky crossroads of the Nazran region, at the checkpoint of the traffic police, in Ingushetia by agents of the Federal Security Services. On 17 March 2004, prosecutor of the Nazran region initiated a criminal case based on Article 126-2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (abduction of a person). The Federal Security Services denied its involvement in the crime. The fate and whereabouts of the subject remain unknown.
